Economists put emphasis on strong Pak Kuwait trade ,economic relations

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Economist Dr. Manzoor Khan Afridi has said that Pakistan and Kuwait had been enjoying strong friendly relations since long and Pakistan had done a lot for prosperity and integrity of Kuwait.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said Kuwait has also supported Pakistan in 2005 earthquake.
He said both Pakistan and Kuwait should focus on improving trade volume among each other adding that Kuwait should also become the part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project (CPEC).
He said Pakistan has always played active role in resolving conflicts among Arab countries and the Middle East countries have respect for Pakistan as “we have strong relations with these countries”.
Economist Dr. Shahid Hassan Siddiqui has said that Prime Minister was making all out efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with other countries in the region including China and Kuwait .
He said “Kuwait is our brotherly country and realizes that Pakistan is
second largest and has an important strategic location”. Moreover, he said that India’s claim to isolate Pakistan had also failed after successfully holding of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) meeting in Islamabad recently as Pakistan had been focusing on to improve and strengthened its economy with the hope that the other countries would be attracted towards it.
“Kuwait is rich in oil reserves and can support Pakistan to a great extent.Following the principles of Quaid-e-Azam, we can make Pakistan an economic power in the world till 2030”, he added.
