ASTORE (MILLAT/APP): The PMLN District Astore chapter has urged the Governor and Chief Minster Gilgit Biltistan to direct the Works and Services Department for early repair of the main Astore road in order to ease tension of the passengers.
Secretary General PML(N) District Astore Muhammad Saleem at a press conference here today aid that the road from Astore main Bazar to Thalichi Bridge is badly damaged at different points and the passengers and patients traveling on this road are facing problems.
The road is also dangerous for the jeeps and other vehicles plying on the road. The Astore road was damaged due to the earth quake of 2007.
We appealed the Governor and Chief Minister GB to ensure the repair and maintenance of the road at the earliest for the facilitation of the passengers.
