MULTAN, (MILLAT/APP): Punjab government is utilizing all
possible resources to ensure all facilities in the hospitals
across the province.
This was said by former provincial minister Haji
Ehsan Uddin Qureshi while talking to citizens during his
visit to different wards of Nishtar Hospital here on Monday.
He said that free medicines and treatment
were being given to citizens at Nishtar hospital and other
hospitals.
He disclosed that the government was interested to establish
another big hospital in the city to facilitate masses, adding that
the land was being purchased for the hospital near Basti Baleel at
Shujabad road.
He added that the hospital would be completed within next
four to five years with the capacity of 2,000 beds. He
said that 500 beds would be made in first phase and 500 in next
phase while another 1,000 beds would be made in third phase. He
said that stone laying of the hospital would be made in the
current year.
He said that Naag Shah Chowk to Shujabad road was being made
expressway which would be completed soon.
