Concern express over growing communal activities in IHK

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Illegally detained Hurriyet leader
and the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman,
Zafar Akbar Butt has expressed concern over the growing activities
of communal forces in Jammu.
Zafar Akbar Butt in a statement issued in Srinagar expressed
dismay over the demolishing drive in some parts of Jammu and
harassment of Muslims in Khati Talab, Gujar Nagar, KMS reported.
He said that their functioning depicted sheer vengeance as
they were targeting the Muslims particularly in Talab Khati Khan,
Gojar Nagar and other Muslim dominated areas of Jammu.
He warned the puppet administration for its biased approach
and said that nobody would be allowed to repeat 1947-like
situation in Jammu. He hoped that other communities living in
Jammu would not allow the elements to break the cordial relations
between different communities.
Meanwhile, the JKSM spokesman in a statement in Srinagar
strongly condemned the authorities for continued illegal house
arrest of the party Chairman and other leaders terming it sheer
highhandedness and vandalism.
