ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Higher Education Commission (HEC) has
released Rs 12532.604 million to public sector universities of
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the fiscal year 2015-16.
The funds has been released under various heads including Rs
6862.047 million for annual recurring grant, Rs 537.474 million for
tenure track funds, Rs 560.259 million for supplementary grants.
Besides that, an official told APP that Rs 280 million has
been issued for additional grant for security, Rs 8239.78 million
for total recurring, Rs 4292.824 million for various projects of
Public Sector Development Programme and Rs 4292.824 million for
total development.
He further informed that Rs 10 million has been released for
establishing new university of Swabi for Women.
