Sindh govt to establish seven medical colleges

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): Sindh government is carrying out
schemes to establish seven medical colleges in the province to
provide best medical education and to overcome the shortage of
doctors.
Radio Pakistan quoting health department official said that
an amount of rupees one point 885 billion is being spent in the
current financial year 2017 in this regard.
The official said that under these schemes two medical
colleges are being established in Karachi while one each in
Sukkur, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas and Matiari.
Health department is also spending rupees 140 million for
renovation and rehabilitation of Chandka Medical College in
Larkana and for establishing girls’ hostels there to facilitate
female students.
