Tokyo stocks open higher on weaker yen

TOKYO, (MILLAT/APP/AFP) – Tokyo stocks opened
higher on Tuesday as exporters rose, with the yen turning down against the dollar.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index rebounded 0.91 percent, or 172.93 points, to
19,158.52 in the first few minutes of trading while the Topix index of all
first-section issues was up 0.87 percent, or 13.27 points, at 1,537.66.
