ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT/APP): The prices of fruits and
vegetables overall remained stable with minor fluctuation in price
of some items in the federal capital here on Tuesday.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee Price List issued
here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major
difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list, potato was sold at Rs 25 per
kilogram, Onion Rs 34, Tomato Rs 120/190, Ginger Rs 90, Garlic
(China) Rs 295, Garlic Local 170, Lemon Rs 175, Pumpkin Rs 30,
Brinjal Rs 38, Peas Rs 30, Fresh Bean Rs 64, Tinda Walaiti
(Imported gourd small) Rs 30, Cucumber Rs 23, Capsicum Rs 56/35,
Green Chilli Rs 86, Cauliflower Rs 32/22, Cabbage Rs 22, Bitter
Gourd Rs 135/90, Green Zucchini Rs 86, Spinach Rs 20/14, Raddish Rs
18, Turnip Rs 22, Yam Rs 74, Maroo Rs 34, Carrot Rs 34, Chicken Rs
192 and Egg per dozen Rs 87.
Likewise, the rates of fruits per kilogram of high and
medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple (kala kalo) Rs
132/95, Apple Golden Rs 100/58, Apple White Rs 96/50, Apple China Rs
198/142, Banana Pak Rs 110/65, Banana India Rs 155/125,
Guava 100/50, Pomegranate Rs 235/175, Kino Rs 82/55, Pear China Rs
158/130, Melon Rs 58/45, Strawberry Rs 245/200.
