MULTAN, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): Pest Warning & Quality Control
cell of Agriculture department had seized 21,695 kg substandard
pesticide worth Rs 7.2 million during last four months.
The department also got 1319 pesticide samples and sent to
laboratory for analysis and 43 samples proved substandard.
The department also got registered 24 cases against accused
involved in selling substandard pesticicies during same period.

Farooq stated this during an informal meeting with journalists
here on Friday.
He said that pest warning field teams also participated in
1145 farmer gatherings and imparted training to 30000 farmers
in connection with cotton off season management farmer gatherings.
