A day-long amateur golf championship held

KARACHI, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): A day-long amateur golf championship in
different categories was held under the sun-lit Arabian Sea Country Club golf course, said a statement here Friday.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Malik Murtaza Hussain was declared
the winner of the Pak-Suzuki Amateur Golf Tournament-2017 with gross score of 77.
Malik Murtaza was also declared Man of the tournament.
However, no golfer was succeeded to win Suzuki Swift car put for
golfers for Hole-in-one competition.
The 18 hole tournament is a regular event taking place every year
since over last 15-year.
This time as many as over one hundred golfers had got entries for
the event including four women, seven juniors in different categories
that illustrated the popularity as well as enthusiasm of the game among
the sports lovers.
Speaking at the prize distribution ceremon, the Chief Executive
Officer of the Arabian Sea Country Club Arif Ali Khan Abbasi thanked the Pak-Suzuki for their contribution in the promotion sports especially the golf.
The Divisional Head Marketing/Sales Pak-Suzuki Motors Imtiaz Ali Dayo
while congratulating the winners said that his organization will continue
to play its role in holding such events in future as well.

Amatures: Winner Gross – SSP Malik Murtaza Hussain (77Gross),
Runner up Gross Waqas Burki (77 rpt 77 gross), Winner Net Khurram Iqbal (63net), Runner up Net Major Maisam (66 net).
Seniors: Winner Gross Major Irfan (78 gross), Runner up Gross Asad i.A. Khan (83 Gross), Winner Net Brig. Khadim Jatoi (72 Net) and Runner up Net WG CDR Nasim Baig (75 net).
Juniors: Winner Gross Asad Ali Khan (77gross), Runner up Gross Yashal Shah (80 gross), Winner Net Shayan Amin (53 Net) and Runner Up Net Haider Bilal (60 Net) .
Ladies: Winner Gross Tabassum Sharif, Runner up Gross Amna Amjad,
Winner Net Aysha Fauzan and Runner up Net Tahira Raza.
