ABBOTTABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): Unexpected heavy snowfall after three decades
in the month of April has been recorded on the hills of Galyat and Thandyani on Friday.
Heavy snowfall started in the Friday morning in Nathiagali, Dongagali,
Baragali and Ayubia where more than 8 inches snow has been recorded. While in Thandiani and surrounding areas have received more than one feet snow and heavy snowfall continues in all hilly areas of district Abbottabad.
According to the locals after 29 years Galyat and Thandyani received
heavy snowfall during the month of April which is also unexpected for residents. Tourists have rushed to Galyat and Thandiyani to enjoy the live snowfall and chilling weather. In Abbottabad city people also rushed to the winter delicacies shops and enjoying the Pakora, Samosa, Chappal Kabab and other.
In Abbottabad and other parts of Hazara division heavy downpour followed
by thunderstorm and flash flood is also continued after passing three days. Several link roads and thoroughfares in Abbottabad and Mansehra district have been destroyed by the land sliding and flash flood.
