Provincial scrutiny committee formed for regularising nurses

LAHORE, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): Punjab Specialised Healthcare & Medical Education
(SH&ME) Secretary Najam Ahmed Shah here Saturday constituted a provincial scrutiny committee to finalise scrutiny process of all charge nurses in BPS-16, who were appointed on contract basis for a period of three years, for considering them to regularise their services.
The committee consisted of PGMI/LGH Principal Prof Ghais-un-Nabi Tayyib
as its chairman, and secretary of Directorat General Nursing Punjab (DGNP), SH&ME representative (not below the rank of deputy secretary) and representative of Primary & Secondary Health Punjab (not below the rank of deputy secretary) as members. The committee, after completing the process, would submit a consolidated case to the SH&ME Department within 15 days for further process.
The department has also constituted institution-wise scrutiny
committees, headed by the medical superintendents concerned for the purpose. These committees would scrutinise the cases of all such charge nurses presently working in their institutions/hospitals and submit reports within seven days to the DGNP.
