PESHAWAR, (MILLAAT ONLINE/APP): Sarfaraz Khan of New King Gym and Abdul Wahid of
Asian Gym clinched the Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Junior Mr. KP title here in a bodybuilding contests held at PSB Coaching Center Hall on Saturday.
Former Sports Minister and Vice President Pakistan Olympic Association Syed Aqil Shah was the chief guest on this occasion. Known promoter Sohail bin Qayyum, international technical officials of the Bodybuilding Tariq Pervez, judges Mr. Pakistan Kishwar Ali, Zulfiqar Butt, national champion and Mr. Pakistan Muhammad Yasin, Mr. Sarhad Khan Gul, organizing Secretary Haider Ali Khan, from the three junior and four senior classes from all across the province were also present during the thrill-packed contests witnessed by hundreds and thousands of spectators.
Sarfaraz Khan won the title of the Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with more points after a tough battle with fellow competitors while Abdul Wahid got Junior Mr. KP title and Iftikhar Khan took Mr. Peshawar title-2017.
In the Junior class 70kg Abdul Wahid took first position, followed by Salman of Malakand, and Imran of Saddique Gym Peshawar. In the 65kg weight class category Wali Khan of Malakand won the class position, followed by Hassan Umer of Pak Gym and Anis of Gold Gym,
In the 70 and above weight class category Ihsan Ullah of Mardan won first position, followed by Sami ULlah of Saddique Gym and Mansoor Ikram of Lower Dir. In the Senior class weight category 65kg Sami Ullah of Fit Gym got first position, followed by Imran Khan of Malakand and Muhammad Khalid of Dera Ismail Khan, in the 70kg weight category Javed Akbar of Gold Gym took first position, followed by Tahir Khan of Lower Dir and Farman Ullah of Fit Gym, in the 75kg weight Iftikhar of Young Gym got first position on points, followed by Imran khan of Nowshera and Shehzad of Mardan while in the 75kg and above weight class Sarfaraz Khan of New King Gym got first position, followed by Tahir Khan of Mardan and Abdul Ali of Mardan.
At the end, the chief guest gave away trophies and titles of the Mr, Junior Mr and Mr. Peshawar titles. President Peshawar District Imran Durrani, Sohail bin Qayyum, Abid Ullah Yousafzai also gave away prizes. Abid Ullah Yousafzai presented motorcycle to Sarfaraz over winning Mr. KP title.
