Tokyo stocks fall by break on geopolitical tensions

TOKYO, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP/AFP) – Tokyo stocks fell
Tuesday morning with investors nervous about rising tensions on the Korean peninsula, while Toshiba was hit as it faced a looming deadline to publish an overdue earnings report.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index lost 0.48 percent, or 89.39 points, to
sit at 18,708.49 by the break, while the broader Topix index of all first-section issues fell 0.54 percent, or 8.11 points, to 1,491.54.
