ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): Farmers of Tirah Maidan area of
Khyber Agency have been given tools for farming after completion
of agriculture training.
Under the training prgramme, sponsored by Political Agent
Captain (R) Khalid Mehmood and Governor’s Special Development
Programme, certificates were distributed in 27 participiants
in ceremony organised at Khyber House, reported a private news
channel.
Khyber Agency Agriculture Department chief Shamsur Rehman
said the four-day training programme was organised in Tarnab area
during which the farmers were given training on growing orchards
and collecting fruit.
He said the training included steps ranging from methods of
farming to sale of fruit in the market.
Participants of the programme said it was a useful learning
exercise for them.
