Probe into target killings in IoK demanded by UN body

ISLAMABAD, (MILLAT ONLINE/APP): The Chairman Jammu of and Kashmir
Peoples League, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza while paying rich tributes to
the youth martyred by Indian troops in Srinagar demanded a probe
by the war crimes tribunal of the United Nations into all such
target killings in the territory.
Mukhtar Ahmad Waz was addressing a public rally at Liver
Tehsil Salar in Islamabad district, KMS reported.
Waza said that bloodshed of innocent people was continuing
in Kashmir since 1947.He added that in 2008, 2010 and 2016, people
of Kashmir made it clear that this land had been illegally
occupied by India but New Delhi always tried to suppress the
Kashmiri people’s freedom movement with military might.
The Hurriyet leader expressed his deep concern over the
growing violations of human rights by Indian army and police
saying said that the men in uniform were suffering from power of
arrogance and they were forgetting that youth were sacrificing
their lives for the future of the Kashmiri people.
Haling the freedom passion of people, Waza said that
arbitrary and suppressive measures won’t deter them from pursuing
the cherished goal.
Other leaders who were accompanying Mukhtar Ahmad Waza
included Rafiq Ahmad Dar, Manzoor Ahmad, Shabir Ahmad Nanwaee,
Mohammad Altaf and Bilal Ahmad Sheikh.
