Federal budget termed pro-people

FAISALABAD, May 26 (APP): All leading trade organizations,
including the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(FCCI) and Council of Loom Owners Association (CLOA),
Anjuman Tajran, hailed the budget and termed it as
pro-people and business-friendly.
They said it would help in materializing the dream of
national progress and prosperity by stabilizing the
national economy.
Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) president
Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh termed the federal budget
balanced and said it would further increase achievements of the
present government.
The incentives provided to various segments would
also help the government to achieve its ultimate objects
of progress and prosperity, he added.
He specially appreciated the payment of refund claims of
sales tax which had been categorized into two groups.
The FCCI chief also appreciated the incentives announced
in the federal budget for the agriculture sector, poultry and
textile sector.

Bhalli also appreciated the federal budget and said allocation
of huge funds for development projects would surely help in
bringing prosperity and progress in Pakistan.
He added the federal budget was not only good but it was
very good and particularly acceptable to all as the
government had tried its best to provide maximum relief
to all segments of the society.
He said government had also made reasonable increase in
salaries, pensions and other allowance of government employees.
Former senior vice president FCCI Sheikh Nadeem Allahwala
also appreciated the federal budget and said allocation of
maximum funds for agriculture loans, energy sector, and
other projects would help in speed up pace of national progress
and prosperity.
He said that the government had rightly focused on the energy
sector and its foresighted policies would surely overcome
loadshedding from the country.
MPA Rao Kashif Raheem declared the budget a true depiction
of the PML-N’s pro-people and said that maximum funds had
been allocated for the poor.
The government had increased funds of the Benazir Income
Support Program (BISP) which clearly indicated that the
PML-N government truly wanted to improve life standard
of the oppressed and depressed ones, he added.
Waheed Khalid Ramay, Chairman Council of Loom Owners
Association (CLOA), also welcomed the budget and termed it the
best one.
