LAHORE, May 27 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad
Shehbaz Sharif has felicitated the nation and the whole Ummah
on the start of Ramadan.
In his message issued here on Saturday, he said:” We are
thankful to Allah Almighty that we have found the holy month
once again in our lives”.
Fasting is a religious obligation and training of
personal discipline, he added.
The chief minister said this holy month teaches us self-
accountability, sincerity and sacrifice.
Shehbaz Sharif said:” During the holy month we should
not forget those who need our attention and the rich
should specially take care of the poor, needy,
widows and orphans”.
He said Ramadan teaches us patience and added that
scholars should play an active role during this holy month to
teach patience and brotherhood as well as propagate the
message of socio-economic justice.
