RAWALPINDI, May 28 (APP): Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Yousaf Ali
Shahid said that motorists should show patience on Murree Road and avoid rash driving near Iftar time.
Every one wanted to reach his destination on time but this race
ultimately lead to a fatal accidents, he said while talking to APP here
on Sunday.
CTO directed wardens that there would be rush near Iftar time, so no
warden would leave the point where he was deputed otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
He said that traffic police was seriously taking up the issue of one
wheeling during Ramazan adding that their motorcycles have been
confiscated in police stations besides imposing heavy fines to the violators.
A control room has been set up in the Race Course Traffic
Headquarter.
CTO said that citizens can lodge their complaints on 9272616 and can
get guidance to travel on road without difficulty.
