Youm-e- Takbeer observed in Balochistan with national enthusiasm

QUETTA, May 28 (APP): Youm-e-Takbeer was observed across the province to
commemorate the historic nuclear test Pakistan conducted on this day in 1998.
Pakistan carried out nuclear tests on 28 May in 1998 on the decision
of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Special prayers were offered for the progress and prosperity of the
country, supremacy of the constitution, prosperity of the nation and eradication of terrorism.
Several organizations had arranged special programms and functions to
highlight importance of the day.
Talking to APP on Sunday, MPA Ghulam Dastagir Badeni said that Pakistan
became seventh nuclear world power with demonstration of nuclear capabilities and the first in the Muslim world, tests made Pakistan’s defense.
He said that Youm-e-Takbeer was a day of pride for not only Pakistanis
but also for the entire Muslim Ummah.
He congratulated the nation and termed Youm-e- Takbeer a day of
jubilation.
He said the most important message of the day was that the nation will
not allow anyone to get in the way of progress of Pakistan.
He also paid rich tribute the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Shafrif for
bold decision of making Pakistan nuclear power on May 28, 1998.
