ISLAMABAD, May 28 (APP): Mainly very hot and dry weather is
expected in plain areas of the country while, rain-thunderstorm is
likely at few places in Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
A shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country
an official of Met office Rashid Bilal told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained very hot and dry in most
parts of the country.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Sunday were Turbat 53.5øC,
Sibbi 50øC, Jacobabad, Dadu 49øC, Larkana 48øC, Nokkundi, Dalbandin,
Bhakkar, Sakrund, Sukkur 47øC, Multan 45øC, Peshawar 43øC,
Faisalabad 41øC, Hyderabad, Lahore 40øC, Islamabad 39øC, Quetta,
Gilgit, Muzaffarabad 38øC, Karachi 36, Dir 36øC, Chitral 35øC,
Skardu 30øC and Murree 29øC.
