MoU for establishing technology incubation centre

KARACHI, May 28 (APP): A technology incubation centre will be
established at the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Karachi, an
official of the institution said on Sunday.
He said that the global cloud based solution provider consortium
Partners organization MATZ have signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) with the MAJU.
According to which a technology incubation center will be
established at university campus and after the establishment of
technology incubation centre the students and teachers particularly
those enrolled in computing & engineering studies will be able to
avail an opportunity to work on high tech technology.
It was pointed out that international organization MATZ group
is a consortium providing cloud solutions in e-health,
e-education-governance, e-activism, e-security and smart tech
solutions through its consortium partners.
The President of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi, Prof
Dr Zubair Shaikh, expressed his satisfaction over the signing of MoU
between MAJU & MATZ.
He said that it is the responsibility of a university to launch
national and international projects and to produce products in the
interest of general public, for this reason we are establishing this
technology based incubation centre here.
He said at this centre besides students and teachers as well as
the staff members will also be able to express their creativity
through working with this high tech technology centre.
He was of the view that with the establishment of this centre
`we may also fill the gap between industry and academia by providing
the solution of their problems and to provide them technical information
also’.
Dr Zubair Shaikh said that in today’s world the use of technology
may change human life also.
After signing MoU with MATZ, `we will be responsible to provide
them office space, lab facility, internship and staff expenditures
while MATZ will look after national and international marketing.
