HYDERABAD, May 29 (APP): The people of Hyderabad experienced high temperature of the current summer season during last couple of days which forced the citizens to remain indoor and suspend their routine activities for taking relief.
The sweltering heat which has gripped the city since couple of days
made life difficult for the residents in Qasimabad, Hyderabad and Latifabad areas.
The sweltering summer heat also continued to send more people, mainly children and elderly, suffering from diarrhea to the different hospitals for seeking treatment. Roads and streets looked deserted as majority of citizens preferred to remain inside to save themselves from the scorching heat.
There were reports of people suffering from heat-stroke and heat-exhaustion. Doctors advised that families should make sure that children wash hands after using toilets, drink boiled water and take hygienic foods.
Hyderabad is experiencing hottest spell of weather ranging between 46 to 48 degree centigrade since last two weeks, making the routine life of
the people disrupted.
