LONDON, June 4 (APP/AFP) – London Mayor Sadiq Khan on Sunday condemned as “barbaric” a van and knife attack on London Bridge and at nearby Borough Market — a bustling nightlife district.
“This was a deliberate and cowardly attack on innocent Londoners and
visitors to our city enjoying their Saturday night,” he said, adding: “There is no justification whatsoever for such barbaric acts”.
