FESCO taking action to resolve probelms of rural areas on priority: CEO

SARGODHA, June, 4 (APP): Chief Executive Officer (CEO),
Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), Rashid Ahmed Aslam
has said the company was taking prompt actions to resolve
consumers’ problems on priority basis.
Talking to APP, he said that the problems of rural areas
related to elctricity were being given priority. ” Every complaint
from urban or rural areas is being redressed without any
discrimination” the CEO added.
He said a formal complaint of a fault was being resolved
with in 24 hours. Complaint about damaged electricty poles and
loose wires in the company’s areas were also being resolved,
he added.
He said faulty electricity transformers were also replaced
on priority to ensure power supply to consumers, adding every
effort was being made serve interest of consumers.
Menwhile, residents of Thatha Hakiman had pointed out certain
broken poles in the village that needed to removed on urgent basis
to avoid any loss.
They said on the directons of CEO, FESCO, the company had
replaced many poles with new ones and added some poles still
needed to be removed.
