TOKYO, Japan, June 14, (APP/AFP) – Tokyo stocks
closed lower Wednesday as investors awaited the outcome of a two-day Fed meeting later in the day.
The Nikkei 225 index edged down 0.08 percent, or 15.23 points, to close at 19,883.52, while the broader Topix index of all first-section issues fell 0.11 percent, or 1.74 points, to end at 1,591.77.
