Rivers flows, reservoirs level report

ISLAMABAD, (APP): The position of the river inflows and outflows
at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the
barrages today is as under :
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 20800 cusecs and Outflows 32000 cusecs,
Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 8600 cusecs and Outflows 8600 cusecs,Jhelum at
Mangla: Inflows 16300 cusecs and Outflows 35000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala:
Inflows 7200 cusecs and Outflows 3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 63600 cusecs and Outflows 57300 cusecs,Chashma:
Inflows 42800 cusecs and Outflows 40000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 52600
cusecs and Outflows 40200 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 21100 cusecs and
Outflows 20800 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 65300 cusecs and Outflows 61700
cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 53400 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Kotri:
Inflows 7800 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs ( Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1444.76 feet,
maximum  conservation  level 1550 feet, live storage is 1.346 million
acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1097.95 feet,
maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage is 0.576 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 645.40 feet,
maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage is 0.151 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River
Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean
flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
