MULTAN, (APP): Mumtazabad police have registered FIR
against a Sub-Inspector on the orders of the court after the
policeman failed to resubmit the arrest warrants before the
court.
The FIR was registered on the report of SHO/Inspector Imran
Arif against Sub-Inspector Abdur Rahman under section 55-C of the
Police Order 2002.
According to details, court had ordered police to arrest
accused Naeem Abbas who was availing bail relief in a narcotics
case, and issued his arrest warrants. The arrest warrants were
handed over to the Sub-Inspector to arrest the accused. The
police officer, however, did not resubmit the documents before
the court following which the court ordered registration of FIR
against him.
