Residents throng parks to enjoy pleasant weather

ISLAMABAD, (APP): A number of people thronged
recreational places to enjoy the pleasant weather in twin
cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Friday.
The citizens were seen flocking the areas like Pir
Sohawa, Damn-e-Koh, Fatima Jinnah Park, Pakistan Monument,
Shakarparian, food outlets, Ayub National Park, and Nawaz
Sharif Public Park in the twin cities.
Ayesha Shafique, a student of class 8th said “Lake
View Park is my favorite place especially I like the birds
area.” “Whenever, I went there I felt relaxed and enjoyed
a lot with my family.”
Atif Raza student said “Pleasant weather is a treat
for the residents of the twin cities allowing them to enjoy
glimpses of nature.”
Anum Khalid, a housewife said ” The only complaint
at these recreational spots, is the price hike of the
eatable items.”
He said: “In fact, they are fleecing people, and
we are bound to buy those items for children.”
He called for ensuring a mechanism to monitor the
prices of food items at these points.
When contacted, an district administration official
said “We have asked the shopkeepers to display the list of
the prices of the food items”
He said teams remain vigilant and people should
register their complaints in this regard.
