Qatrati price writes third letter to JIT

ISLAMABAD, July 19 (APP): Former prime minister of Qatar Prince Sheikh
Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabar Al-Thani has written another letter to the Joint
Investigation Team (JIT) appointed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the
PanamaLeaks case to provide him the schedule for its visit to Qatar’s capital Doha, according to a private news channel.
It is the third letter that the Qatari prince has written to the JIT
on the same subject where he has informed the team that he would welcome it in his office and verify all the contents and facts that he wrote in his letters that was produced in the Supreme Court with regard to his family’s business association with the Sharif family of Pakistan.
The third letter was written on the letter pad of Ministry of Justice
Qatar and stamped by the the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Qatar.
Former Attorney General Irfan Qadir talking to a private news channel,
said that the JIT should forward a questioniar to the Qatar Authorities
for clarification and authencity of documents produced by Hassan Nawaz before it. He said that JIT submitted report without confirmation of documents by the Qatar Authorities by terming them forged.
He said that the Sharif family can get clean chit from the Supreme
Court if it produced sources of funds and details of transctions for the London flats.
He said that the JIT termed all documents submitted by the Sharif
family forged and if verified documents are produced before the apex court
then the Supreme Court can reject the JIT report.
He said that in his view the Supreme Court can refer the case to
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as the probe team also recommended that
the matter should be refered to the NAB. He said NAB would dceide that
whether reference should be filed or not.
Qadir said that if the apex court discredit JIT report then the report
would have no impact on the case.
