PESHAWAR, (APP): Some unknown gunmen assassinated a Lieutenant
Colonel Tariq Ghafoor near Sarband Ring Road Peshawar today and fled from the scene, said a press release of ISPR.
Lt.Col Tariq Ghafoor embraced shahadat due to firing by unknown
assailants after Juma prayer, said the release. The officer was posted at Peshawar and was undergoing post graduate studies at a government university, it concluded.
