Complaints against Imran Khan lodged in two police stations

MUZAFFARABAD, August 03 (APP): Members of civil society on Thursday
submitted applications in two police stations here seeking lodging of FIR against PTI chief Imran Khan under section 500, 501 and 504.
Asif Awan, Raja Zain Mehmood, Faisal Turk advocate, Raja Azhar and many
other people moved the applications seeking criminal cases against Imran Khan in AJK for passing derogatory remarks against Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan in a public meeting in Islamabad.
The Station House Officers (SHOs) of the city police station and Civil
Secretariat Police station have forwarded these applications to senior officers seeking direction from them, police sources said.
Senior police officer said the applications were being considered and
action would be taken after getting legal opinion from the experts as the offence was occurred out of their jurisdiction.
Applicants have also sought registering of FIRs against Imran Khan,
Shaikh Rasheed and Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan for making derogatory remarks against Raja Farooq Haider Khan in the same public meeting.
