KARACHI, Aug 7 (APP): A lunar eclipse occurred in the country on
Monday night, an official of the Met Office said here.
He said that the eclipse commencing at 8.50 p.m. would continue
till 1.51 a.m. and that its duration would be almost five hours.
The eclipse would be visible in Pakistan as well as in Asia,
Australia, Antarctica and some parts of Europe.
This is the first lunar eclipse of the year 2017, it was further
stated.
