KARACHI, Aug 11 (APP): Senate Chairman, Mian Raza Rabbani will
inaugurate a two-day Sindh Labour Conference on August 12 at PILER
Centre, Gulshan-e-Maymar here.
National Labour Council (NLC), in collaboration with Sindh Labour
Solidarity Committee and Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and
Research (PILER) has organised this two-day Sindh Labour Conference at
PILER Centre, Gulshan-e-Maymar, here from August 12-13, said a
statement on Friday.
Chairman of National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) Justice
(Retd) Ali Nawaz Chowhan will be the chief guest at the inaugural
session.
The main objective of the conference is to collect recommendations
for the forthcoming provincial Sindh Tripartite Labour Conference, to
be held by Sindh government in September.
Trade unions, labour, women labourers and peasants leaders from
across the province will attend this two-day conference.
Some representatives of the key trade unions from other provinces
would also attend the conference. Representatives from Employers
Federation of Pakistan are also expected to attend it.
