Overall below normal rainfall registered in July

ISLAMABAD, Aug 11 (APP): Major parts of the country received
below normal rainfall during the month of July while Sialkot Cantt registered highest level of rainfall 396.82 mm followed by 332.05 mm in Kamra.
Almost 13 cities received below normal rainfall in Punjab while
the graph of only four cities including Sialkot, Kamra, Jhelum and Khanpur respectively was recorded as above normal, the Met Office said.
In Gilgit-Baltistan only Gilgit received above normal rainfall of
15mm during last month while 12mm is considered as the normal level
rainfall in this city.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Risalpur followed by Cherat, Parachinar,
Peshawar Air Port and Chitral respectively received above normal
rainfall whereas in Sindh, only Chhor and Badin fall in the upper
graph of rainfall during the month.
In Balochistan the level of rainfall received in Khuzdar was
registered above normal whereas the data of all other city showed
declined rainfall trend during July.
