ISLAMABAD, Aug 11 (APP): Like other parts of the country,
Independence Day would be celebrated in Federally Administered
Tribal Areas (FATA) with national zeal and spirit.
An official source of FATA Secretariat here on Friday said bazars,
markets, streets and houses had been decorated with national flags
in connection with independence day celebrations.
Shops and stalls selling the national flags, ribbons, caps and
badges had been dealing with rush of customers in different bazaars
including all districts and agencies of FATA.
The youth had also decorated their motorcycles and vehicles
with national flags.
Various ceremonies would be held at every agency level to pay
tribute the sacrifices of those people who sacrificed their
lives in the terrorism.
The children of schools will participate in tableaus and
speech competition.
The elder members of different tribes and other political
figures would attend the ceremonies.
