ASF foils bid to smuggle 300 smart phones

ISLAMABAD, March 13 (APP): Airport Security Force (ASF) at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle 300 smart phones worth millions of rupees from Dubai to Pakistan.
According to the ASF sources, passenger Syed Ali Shah Gillani who arrived Islamabad from Dubai yesterday, had left his luggage at the airport.
Gillani, the sources said, had reached the airport on Sunday to collect the bag, but the ASF recovered the smuggled phones from the luggage during checking.
The ASG has registered a cause against the accused and set teams for his arrest, who somehow managed to fled from the airport.
