European stocks diverge at open

  • LONDON, (MILLAT+APP/AFP) – Europe’s main stock markets traded mixed in opening deals on Wednesday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index up almost 0.2 percent to 6,802.84 points. In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 dipped nearly 0.1 percent to 10,726.34 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.2 percent to 4,545.89 compared with Tuesday’s finish.
